towns. Since pre-Columbian days
to the present this locale has been
either home or visited by Timucuan
Indians; Spanish and French explorers.

Scottish physican Andrew Turnbull built the largest settlement in
America in 1768. Highlights of its past include: Seminole Indians;
Civil War skimishes;Flagler Railroad; and the 20th Century of Florida
development.
