Family owned and operated since
1956, Gatorama is one of the last
roadside attractions from that
era. It is located on Route 27,
which was a heavily traveled
roadway in the 1960's, before
1-75 and the Florida Turn-
Pike were built.

There is a gift shop with many
unusual items including classic
alligator leather goods (below).
Frozen, vacuum-packed gator
meat and gator ribs are
also for sale.

"Old Florida" at its best, Gatorama
has the world's largest collection
of large alligators (3000) and
crocodiles (200). It is located on
on fifteen acres of scenic lakes
and tall shady trees. Visitors
stroll in the safety of an en-
closed 1000 ft. walk-way to
view these pre-historic
reptiles sunning and
swimming.
Feeding
shows occur
twice a day.

Gators and crocs are not all you
will find at Gatorama.  See
macaws, turtles, monkeys,
peacocks, ducks, geese
and raccoons .
