Tower and Living Quarters
It is a mystery to science how
this diminutive man of 5 feet
and 100 pounds was able to
excavate, sculpt and transport
more than 1100 tons of coral
rock. Each section of wall is 8
feet tall, 4 feet wide, 3 foot
thick and weighs approximately
13,000 pounds. When asked
how he was able to move the
blocks of coral, Ed would say
only that he used the laws
of weight and leverage.

CORAL
CASTLE
Explore an unusual fantasy
world constructed of limestone
rock. The three acre complex
was created and built by one
man who worked alone from
1923 until 1940.
Begun in 1923 by Latvian immigrant
Ed Leedskalnin, this Florida Secret
has been featured on the television
shows "In Search Of " and
"Thats Incredible".
Ed dedicated the castle to his " Sweet
Sixteen", a young lady who had jilted
him on his wedding day.
He died in 1951 and left an astonishing
legacy. The castle also contains a
rock telescope, rock furniture, and
an amazing nine ton gate that
opens with ease.
State of the Art Audio tours lasting
30 minutes describe the construction
and various rock sculptures.
