Southern History

impressive museum and library
in Jacksonville. With its emphasis
on the War Between the States, the privately-funded site is
dedicated
to preserving southern history.
It honors those who valiantly
fought in what is also called
the Civil War.

See realistic displays that depict
the soldier's life (above) and an impeccably
accurate diorama of
the Battle of Olustee, Florida's largest
civil war engagement
that occurred
on Feb. 20 1864.
